The Avid Carp VTX Bite Alarm Sets build on the success of the VTX+ series, delivering advanced features and dependable performance at a more accessible price point. Designed with the modern carp angler in mind, these alarms combine precision bite detection, customisable settings, and rugged reliability for all fishing conditions.

At the core of the system is the IQ-Sense roller wheel with bi-directional sensing, offering eight sensitivity levels to accurately detect both forward runs and drop-backs while helping to eliminate false bleeps caused by wind or water movement. This ensures you stay informed of genuine takes without unnecessary disturbance.

The multi-light LED system provides high-visibility twin LEDs with a choice of four colours—green, blue, red, and yellow—along with an optional night light for improved visibility during low-light sessions. Sound indication is delivered via a high-quality piezo speaker, producing clear, crisp tones that can be easily adjusted using the intuitive side controls and dials.

Each set includes multiple alarm heads and a receiver, with reliable signal transmission of up to 150 metres. The receiver can be paired with up to eight alarms and features a bleep memory function, allowing you to quickly identify which rod was triggered last. For added peace of mind, the SafeGuard anti-theft system alerts you if an alarm head is switched off unexpectedly.

Built to withstand the elements, the weather-sealed casing protects internal components while maintaining low battery consumption, powered by two AAA batteries. A dedicated LED indicator and receiver display keep you informed of battery levels at all times.

Practical design features include deep ears with rubber inlays to securely hold your rods, a robust no-twist thread with locking collar for stable mounting, and a 2.5mm power-out socket for use with illuminated swingers or bobbins.
